Natapohn Tameeruks, better known as Taew, is a Thai-Chinese actress. Born on February 6, 1989, in Bangkok, Thailand, Taew started her career off in a Chinese commercial about dairy.

After she rose to fame from this commercial, Taew continued her acting career in 2006 with her debut film Naruk. Today, Taew has co-starred with other Thai actors from Mark Prin to James Jirayu.

Taew is known for her roles in Khun Chai Rachanon (2013), Nakee (2016), and Game Sanaeha (2018).

1. Plerng Torranong (Arrogant Flame) 2011

Taew stars as Fon, the love interest of Plerng who is played by Mario Maurer. Although she is the female lead, the storyline follows Plerng and his family dynamics.

Plerng lives with his parents in a fishing village because his father had a falling out with his grandmother. When they learn that she is sick, everyone leaves to visit her.

On the way there, they get into a terrible car accident leaving Plerng’s mother in a coma and his father on life support.

When Plerng finds out that his grandmother needs a heart transplant, he makes the executive decision to give away his father’s heart.

2. Khun Chai Rachanon (The Gentleman Brothers Part 4) 2013

Taew plays Soifah, a forest dweller who meets Khun Chai Rachanon. Even though there is prejudice and jealousy among the people they live with, Soifah and Khun Chai Rachanon still fall in love.

When Khun Chai Rachanon finds out that Soifah is actually a princess from a neighboring country, he does his best to return her to her rightful throne.

Note: Taew does play a support role in the final part of the Gentleman Brothers, but Khun Chai Rachanon is her story.

3. Roy Ruk Hak Liam Tawan (The Rising Sun Part 1) 2014

In The Rising Sun, Taew co-stars with Mario Maurer again to bring a 2-part series focused on the Onizuka family.

Taew plays Preawdao or Seiko, her Japanese name, who wins a scholarship to pursue her master’s degree in economics. Preawdao is beautiful and she catches the eye of Takeshi (Mario) who is part of the powerful Onizuka family.

When Preawdao finds out, she distances herself from him because she doesn’t want to get involved with his family.

However, when Takeshi’s father and brother are killed in a bombing and Prewdao is abducted by the gang who planned the murders, Takeshi must do all he can to get her back safely.

Note: The second series is the story of Takeshi’s younger brother Ryu who is played by Nadech Kugimiya. He is joined with Yaya Urassaya to bring viewers a love story about the duty of being Samurais.

4. Lom Sorn Ruk (Wind’s Heated Love) 2015

Taew co-stars with Nadech Kugimiya in this Thai drama series about 2 twins whose lives are completely different.

Taew’s role is Patarin, a woman who became heartbroken after her boyfriend leaves her in a huge pile of debt. To find healing from this, Patarin heads to her rural home for a fresh start.

There, Patarin meets Pranon (Nadech), one of the twins. Pranon is a doctor residing in her rural hometown. Upon hearing about Patarin’s situation, he proposes that they both get married so he can satisfy his family’s desires and she will receive money to clear the debt.

5. Nakee (The Serpent Queen) 2016

Taew stars as Kumkaew born in a remote village with a mysterious past. in her village there are rumors about the Serpent Queen who comes to hurt people, which in turn makes the people want to kill the queen.

What Kumkaew doesn’t know is that her past is tied to the Serpent Queen. When she meets Tossapol, an archeology student, who does find the statue of the Serpent Queen, they must overcome many obstacles for their love to shine through.

Note: Taew does a reappearance in Nakee 2, the movie starring Nadech and Yaya. She is the Serpent Queen who comes to take her vengeance.

6. Rak Nakara (Tales of 2 Cities) 2017

Taew co-stars with Mark Prin and Mew Nittha to bring us the tragic love story of Man Muang (Taew) and Jao Noi Sukkawaong (Mark) in this historical Thai lakorn.

Mang Muang and Ming La (Mew) are half-sisters who are both arranged to be married with other men to create alliances between the kingdoms. However, when they meet Jao Noi Sukkawaong, both of the sisters fall in love with him at first sight.

Jao Noi Sukkawaong only has eyes for Mang Muang. Since Mang Muang’s sister also likes him, she chooses not to declare her love for him.

7. Nueng Dao Fah Diew (One Land, One Sky) 2018

Set in the time of Ayutthaya, Taew co-stars with James Jirayu. Taew is Mang Mao, the daughter of a rich paper owner in town. She by chance meets Sri Khan Thin, but both of them immediately don’t like each other.

Their dislike for each other soon turns into other feelings, but Sri Khan Thin has personal issues he must investigate as well. He is the son of a dead bandit and must disguise himself in order to find out more information about his parent’s deaths.

8. Game Sanaeha (Game of Love) 2018

In their second pairing together, Taew and James Jirayu co-star in this family Thai drama. Taew is Muaenchanok “Nok” and James plays Luckanai “Nai.”

Nok is very upset because both of her parents have separated. Her father is now going to get re-married to a much younger woman and her mother is a shameless flirt with all the young men.

Nok will do everything to get her parents together again and restore happiness. Caught in the middle of her wrath is Nai, a kind young man who’s lived with her family for years.

Because Nok fears that her mother will start flirting with Nai, she proposes a Game of Love. However, Nai has always had feelings for Nok, so he tries his best to help her.

9. Ruk Jung Aoey (Love You So) 2019

Taew plays Dr. Pailin who prides herself on thoroughness and perfection. She’s had a hard life, which in turn caused her heart to be hard and not open to anyone.

When Dr. Pailin misdiagnoses a patient and her boyfriend sleeps with her frenemy, Pailin feels like the world is against her.

However, Dr. Pailin will not yield so easily. She takes on the challenge to work as a doctor in a rural village; however, if she isn’t successful, she will no longer practice medicine.

10. Leh Bunpakarn (Mist of Love) 2020

In their third pairing together, Taew and James Jirayu co-star in a fantastical drama about lives spanning several lifetimes.

Taew is Sitang, a young archaeology professor who has a great interest in the current affairs of the world as they seem to be tied to events from the past. Her uncle has made several connections and has told her about them.

In the middle of this, Plerngfah (James) has just returned from being abroad and is now the news reporter for Channel 6. Plerngfah has a secret ability where he can foresee the past loves of people he touches.

As Sitang and Plerngfah try to figure out how the past connects with their present and future, many are out to hurt them.

11. Game Lah Torrachon (Game of Outlaws) 2021

In this Game of Outlaws, Taew co-stars with Mark Prin as Jane. When Jane and Lalisa’s fathers both die in the line, Jane’s mother adopts Lalisa and they both grow up together.

Both Jane and Lalsia decide to enter the special training unit, led by Inspector Don (Mark) to catch the men who are leading a drug cartel. The captain sees potential in Jane, so he asks her to be Don’s new assistant.

Lalisa already has feelings for Don and when she hears Jane is his new assistant, she misunderstands.

12. Sood Tae Jai Ja Kwai Kwa (As Far As Your Heart Will Reach) 2008

This Thai Drama is more focused on the family dynamics of 5 siblings; however, Taew plays the role of a love interest of one of the siblings.

The father of the family is very strict, so strict that only the oldest son, Pong, is able to please him. Due to this, Pong becomes the favorite child, making him arrogant and self-centered.

The mother is unable to tolerate this unfairness and does her best to provide love to all of her children.

13. Dong Poo Dee (Blue Blood Territory) 2009

Taew stars as Kom, a young woman who is taking care of her mother who has amnesia. When her mother gains her memory back, she entrusts her daughter to Pit.

Pit is about to go abroad, so he takes Kom to the big city, Bangkok, and asks a friend to help take care of Kom and give her the education as he would his own children.

However, the friend and his wife treat Kom very poorly. When Pit goes abroad, he asks his younger relative, Chartsiam, to check on Kom for him and take care of her if anything happens to Pit.

Pit does indeed pass away and in his will names Chartsiam as the guardian of Kom. As Chartsiam sees how poorly Kom is treated and starts caring for her.

14. Phu Pha Prai Mai (Mountain and Silk) 2012

Taew plays the role of Premai, a young woman who is in love with Phu Pha. Even though Phu Pha also loves Premai, he treats her horribly because he believes that Premai killed his younger brother.

In order to hide his feelings, he thinks projecting hate would make him love her less.

15. Tawan Chai Nai Marn Mak (Sun in a Ceiling of Clouds) 2012

Taew has a hidden identity role in this Thai drama. She is cast as Tawanchai, a young novelist who is searching for her first love as inspiration for her new novel.

17. Luerd Mungkorn: Raed (2015

Taew has had a long career as a Thai actress since she started back in 2006. Because of her long history, many of her earlier films were not found online with English subtitles.
